Before Retreat:
Intake Process
Before your retreat, we'll schedule a virtual 90-minute intake session at a mutually convenient time with both Liz and Emily. This session is designed to help us understand your relationship better, including challenges and strengths, and to answer any questions you might have before the retreat. We'll also discuss your experience with fishing, ensuring we tailor activities to your skill level, and obtain size information for your fishing gear (boots and waders). Lastly, we'll gather information about any dietary restrictions and touch base about travel arrangements (if applicable). This personalized approach helps us create a unique retreat experience that's both enjoyable and enriching and will assist in ease of registration upon your arrival in September!

Additionally, if you are interested in the retreat but feel you would like to explore relationship therapy before attending, depending on availability, Liz is happy to work with you prior to the retreat. If interested, Liz would be happy to discuss this with you during the intake session.
After the retreat concludes, if you wish to continue working on your relationship in a therapeutic setting, please discuss options for continuing couples therapy with Liz. Liz is also happy to try and provide referrals in your local community if you prefer in-person sessions.
If you're interested in further fly-fishing experiences, whether by extending your stay or finding local guides for future trips, Emily and her husband Ron, owners of Sedall Troutfitters, would be happy to arrange additional fishing opportunities for you.
Neither ongoing therapy nor additional fishing activities are required, but they are available for those who desire continued support and experiences after the retreat.
